Reverend Appleyard was the Padre for the Royal Regiment of Canada in WWII.

I came across the story of the windows shortly after Remembrance Day. Following up with the Fr. Gary Parker lead me to the Appleyard familiy in Toronto.

Col Taylor recalls that a number of officers in the 1950's would arrange to drop in an visit with the Rector.

The windows can be viewed at Christ Church - Anglican in Meaford. They get about 25 busloads of tourists a year. Fr Parker requests that if you would like to do so to please call in advance, 519 538 1330.
